Man charged after aggravated burglary at house in Birchwood Road, Dartford

A man has been charged following an aggravated burglary at a house in Birchwood Road, Dartford.

James Draper, 35, of Magpie Hall Close, in Bromley, is accused of breaking into the property on Friday, September 25, 2015.

He is also accused of stealing jewellery, cash and a car and is alleged to have had a knife with him at the time.

Draper was arrested on Thursday, July 7, and charged the following day on Friday, July 8.

A 17-year-old boy was jailed for the same incident on April 28.

Jordan Holt admitted aggravated burglary at the home in Birchwood and was sentenced to five years and four months in a young offenders’ institution for a string of offences.

Draper has been remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, August 5.
