Jeffrey Lewis of All Saints Close, Swanscombe, due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court charged with a child sex offence

A man is due to appear in court charged with child grooming.

Jeffrey Lewis, 55, of All Saints Close, Swanscombe, is accused of "facilitating the commission of a child sex offence".

Lewis was arrested by British Transport Police officers in London on Saturday on suspicion of grooming a minor.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court at a date yet to be set.
