Man cut free after car crashes with lorry at Bean junction of A2 London-bound

Firefighters cut a man free after a crash on the A2 near the Bluewater junction this morning.

Two fire engines were called to the crash involving a car and lorry at around 6am.

They used hydraulic rescue equipment to release the man, thought to be in his 30s, who was trapped inside his vehicle.

The roof was removed and the man was put on a spinal long board before being treated by ambulance crews.

The area was made safe just after 7am.
