A man has died after falling from the QEII bridge in Dartford this morning.
Police were called just before 3.30am following reports a man had fallen from the bridge.
Essex police later found a body on the shore and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The bridge was closed for half an hour.
Two of the lanes remained closed while Essex Police recovered a car believed to belong to the man, but the bridge fully reopened at about 7am.
Officers are trying to locate the man's family.
