Fire in Havelock Road, Dartford

A man suffered minor burns after a summer house in his garden caught fire last night.

The blaze broke out in the wooden building in Havelock Road, Dartford, at about 7.45pm.

Two crews from the town's fire station tackled the flames with a hose reel.

They prevented it spreading to the house and neighbouring gardens.

The man did not need an ambulance. The cause is not yet known.
