A man had to be rescued from his car by firefighters yesterday after a crash in West Kingsdown.
Fire and ambulance crews were called to London Road at 5.30pm to reports of a two-car collision.
The trapped man was rescued after crews used hydraulic tools to release him from his vehicle, before he was transferred into the care of paramedics.
He was then taken to an ambulance for further treatment.
