Man stabbed in fight outside Priory Shopping Centre and Sainsbury's in Dartford

A man has been stabbed in a fight outside a shopping centre.

Violence broke out near the Priory Shopping Centre and Sainsbury's in Dartford yesterday evening.

Police say they were called to the "altercation" involving a group of men just before 8pm.

A spokesman said: "Officers attended and one man was taken to a London hospital for treatment to a shoulder injury. His injury is consistent with a stab wound."

A 26-year-old man from Dartford was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.

The spokesman added: "Enquiries are ongoing."
