Mum Teresa Sheldon, from Dartford, charged with murder after five-year-old son Tommy Sheldon died in a car fire in Hampshire

A mum from Dartford has been charged with murder after her five-year-old son died in a car fire.

Tommy Sheldon succumbed to his injuries on August 25, two weeks after he was pulled from the burning vehicle in Hampshire.

His mum Teresa Sheldon, 38, of Leyton Cross Road, has been charged with murder, manslaughter and the attempted murder of another person.

She appeared at Winchester Crown Court on Friday, April 10 and was remanded in custody.

Her next appearance at court is due on Friday, June 19.
