Police called to Chastilian Road, Dartford after concern for man's welfare

Riot police reportedly stormed a road in Dartford after concerns were raised for the welfare of a man.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. He remains in custody.

There have been reports on Twitter of police officers wearing riot gear near an address in Chastilian Road since 4am.

A police spokesman said: "Officers attended the area of Chastilian Road, Dartford, in response to a concern for the welfare of a man, who has been detained."

An ambulance was also reportedly seen in the residential street.
