Motorists face delays at the Dartford Tunnel this evening due to a broken down vehicle.
Traffic is being held back temporarily whilst the vehicle, which is reported to have a gearbox issue, is being recovered on the M25 anticlockwise between Junction 1A, the A206/A226 for Erith and Swanscombe, and Junction 31 A1306 for West Thurrock.
There is also congestion on the M25 to Junction 2 of the A2 for the Darenth Interchange.
Highways England officers are asking motorists to be patient while the incident is being dealt with.
All lanes have been re-opened, but travel time is said to be around 30 minutes.
