Frankie Pettit accused of robbery at the Co-op in Chastilian Road, Dartford

A second man has been remanded in custody after being arrested following a shop raid.

Frankie Pettit, 32, is alleged to have entered the Co-op store in Chastilian Road, Dartford, with Greig Andrew at 7.40pm on Saturday, January 6.

Pettit, of Chichele Road, Cricklewood, London, was arrested by officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.

He was charged with robbery and possessing a firearm on Friday and appeared before Medway magistrates yesterday (Saturday) where he was remanded in custody to appear at court at a later date.

Andrew was arrested and charged with robbery and possessing an imitation firearm earlier this month.

The 35-year-old was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Wednesday February 7.
