Warrant issued for arrest of Stewart Grimsley, of Temple Hill, Dartford, accused of assaulting Anita Sillick

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man suspected of having committed nine offences over two days last year.

Stewart Grimsley, of Patterson Court, Farnol Road, in Temple Hill, Dartford, faces charges of racially aggravated criminal damage, assault and pretending to be a police officer. #

The 61-year-old is accused of causing £100 of damage to Danielle Taylor’s Peugeot while shouting racial abuse on November 27, during the incident he is alleged to have shouted: “Get off your phone, get out of the car, I’m a police officer.”

On December 17 he is said to have embarked on a similar racist rant while smashing the windscreen of a second vehicle driven by Oritsedere Begho.

On the same day he is alleged to have shouted: “Go on then I’m the police,” and “I’m the ******* police.”

He is also accused of assaulting Caroline Dunning and attacking well-known member of the Temple Hill community Anita Sillick causing her actual bodily harm.

Grimsley was due to appear at Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Thursday but failed to show up and a warrant without bail was issued.

It is believe Grimsley has been detained but not arrested.
