KM Football Podcast 22 - Andy Pugh

Andy Pugh hasn't kicked a ball in anger this season but he certainly made an impact when he stepped into the studio for his podcast debut.

The Dartford striker was very emotional as he discussed his determination to recover from a badly broken leg and get back to his best.

Pugh looked back on his five years with Gillingham and revealed whose bad jokes and dodgy banter inspired him during time out on loan.

We spoke about Pugh's breakthrough at Welling, subsequent move to Cambridge United and why he feels so at home with the Darts.

Whoever you support, the podcast is a must-listen as Pugh speaks candidly about his battles with injury, love of the game and how team-mates and his young family have kept him going through the dark times.
