Dartford winger Jack Simmons returns on loan to Canvey Island for a month

Dartford have allowed winger Jack Simmons to re-join Canvey Island on loan.

Simmons, who has been hindered by injury in recent weeks, has joined Canvey on loan for a month to get regular football.

The 21-year-old signed for Darts in the summer from Canvey, where he was voted supporters' player-of-the-year after scoring five times in 32 appearances.

He started well at Princes Park this season and has impressed with his crossing ability down the left wing.

Simmons has previously featured for Colchester and joined Canvey in October 2014 from Leiston.

He is available for Canvey's match with Burgess Hill this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Forward George Sykes has returned from his loan with Canvey and is in the squad for Dartford's National League South trip to Basingstoke this weekend.
