Police are hoping this image will help find a man who tried to grab a two-year-old as she walked with her mother on a busy Dover road.

The woman was walking with her three children on The Banks, between Noah's Ark Road and Coombe Valley Road, when a man walking towards them grabbed at the child's wrists.

The mum pulled the toddler back and pushed the man over, shouting at him before he ran off on Monday, March 18.

He is described as white, about 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins tall, skinny with stubble on his face.

He was in his late 20s or early 30s and had a lazy eye and flaky skin around his eyes.

He was said to have a ‘boyish’ voice, and wore an old-style Manchester United blue zip-up jacket with red stripes down the arms and a Manchester United emblem on the left-hand side.
