Air ambulance lands at Marke Wood Park in Walmer after woman falls

An air ambulance landed at Marke Wood Park in Walmer after a woman suffered a head injury following a fall.

Kent Air Ambulance received a call at 2.15pm yesterday and arrived at the scene in 24 minutes.

The woman was treated before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by land ambulance.

A spokesman for Kent Air Ambulance confirmed crews had been called to Deal yesterday but were not able to offer any more information until today.

He said the helicopter and its crew were called to an incident in Cranbrook soon after.

Police did not attend.
