Ford Focus was found on fire in County Hotel car park on Townwall Street

A car was found on fire in County Hotel Car park in the early hours of this morning.

Dover fire crews attended the scene on Townwall Street in Dover after reports a Ford Focus was on fire.

On approaching the scene at 12am, firefighters found that there was nobody in the vehicle.

Crew manager, Jason Hills, said: "It was bad.

"I wouldn't have been happy if it was my car.

"The car was completely burnt out."

The firefighters managed to put out the fire within minutes of attending.
