Car crashes into ticket machine and four other parked vehicles in Deal Library car park

A car has crashed into the ticket machine and four other parked vehicles in Deal.

It happened at 4.15pm today (Monday) at the Deal Library car park in Broad Street.

Emergency services including firefighters and police were called to the scene.

Firefighter Oliver Walters said: "A car collided with lots of parked cars in the library car park. It was one elderly lady who was driving the car.

"We went to make the scene safe and left once police arrived."

He said he believed the woman was not hurt in the crash, which has seen the ticket machine demolished.

Police confirmed officers are still at the scene of the collision and no serious injuries have been reported.
