A coffee shop in Dover has been named the sixth most popular in the country.

La Salle Verte, in Cannon Street, is run by Haydn and Diane Billson who opened the business in 2007.

Almost immediately they started receiving awards, being voted the best small local business that year, and receiving awards for exceptional customer service in 2001, 2008 and 2009.

Now, La Salle Verte has been named one of the best in the country after receiving more than 300 testimonials nominating their great service.

The testimonials came in response to a campaign by TheBestOf.co.uk to find the Top 100 Most Loved Local Businesses.

When they opened the shop, Mr and Mrs Billson had a vision of a specialised coffee house in the town centre. And that's just what has won them their latest accolade.
