The funeral of a Deal father who was killed in a car crash in the United States has been announced.

Noel, formerly of St Leonard’s Road and Clanwilliam Road, died of severe head injuries.

His body was repatriated to the UK from Connecticut on Thursday.

Mr Varrall said: “The funeral looks almost certainly to be on Friday November 20 at St Leonard’s Church at 1pm.”

There will be a burial at Hamilton Road Cemetery afterwards from 2pm.

The celebration of Noel’s life will take place at Deal Town Football Club straight after the burial.

Family flowers only and donations can be made that will make up a trust for the children’s education.

EB Cavell Funeral Directors is taking care of the arrangements.

Noel formerly worked for his father as a porter and salesman at the family business, Castles Removals.

In the US he worked as a car salesman until his wife, Rebecca, gave birth to their daughter Elizabeth last year.

He then stayed at home as a house husband while Rebecca returned to work.

Rebecca was on a four-year contract for Pfizer in Groton, Connecticut.

Noel also leaves a son, Jayden, 10, who lives in Deal.
