A teenager biker has been injured in a crash with a car in Deal.
The 18-year-old motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after the smash at about 3.15pm.
A friend said the man flew 10m from the bike.
London Road was cordoned off at the corner of Bowling Green Avenue while emergency services were at the scene.
An air ambulance flew to the scene and landed at Victoria Park, but the man was taken to William Harvey Hospital by road.
James Thomsett, a passer-by and friend of the motorcyclist, said: "Apparently he flew 10 metres from his bike.
"He only got that bike yesterday."
Animal House receptionist Julie Summersgill said: "The whole area from the hospital to our surgery was cordoned off.
"It was a young boy on a motorbike. There's also a red car. It was all a bit hectic."
The air ambulance landed at Victoria Park after originally trying to land at Castle Community College.
Kent Police officers were also in attendance.
