A man has been arrested and bailed in connection with alleged wine theft from supermarket

A man was arrested in Deal's High Street on Wednesday afternoon in connection with the alleged theft of wine from a supermarket.

The incident is said to have happened at the Co-operative store in Park Street on Monday evening.

A 48-year-old man has been released on bail until Monday, November 30 while police make further inquiries.
