Three people are being questioned by police after a 25-year-old man collapsed in a nightclub and later died.

Police were called to Rivals nightclub in Queen Street, Deal at just after midnight this morning, following reports a man had collapsed.

The man, from Margate, was taken to the QEQM hospital where he died shortly afterwards.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident and are in police custody.

Witnesses are asked to contact Kent Police on 101.

A statement issued earlier on Rivals' Facebook page urged people not to engage in speculation after the incident, and said security at the club had been helping police with their enquiries.
