Man, 42, from Deal, and man, 44, from Ringwould arrested after drugs raid in Canada Road, Walmer

Two men have been arrested after a drugs raid on a house.

Kent Police swooped on an address in Canada Road, Walmer, last Friday.

They had executed a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Cash and suspected class A drugs along with a mobile phone were seized.

A 42-year-old man from Deal and a 44-year-old man from Ringwould were arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

The 42-year-old was kept in police custody and the second suspect has been released pending further enquiries.

Sgt Daniel Cutter said: "Residents should be reassured that we will do everything within our power to disrupt people involved in the use of illegal drugs.”
