Police appeal for information after girl is grabbed by man in Dover town centre

A police appeal has been launched following an incident where a girl was grabbed by a man in Dover town centre.

It happened on Monday at 3.40pm in Pencester Road.

The girl was walking along the path when a man who was walking towards her stopped and grabbed her wrist, trying to pull it.

She managed to get free from him.

He is described as a white man aged 20 to 25 with short brown hair.

He was wearing a navy blue Adidas top with white stripes on the arms, black Adidas bottoms and red Nike trainers.

It is believed he was drunk or under the influence of drugs.
