Bonfire sets back garden alight in Oswald Road, Dover

A back garden in Dover caught alight after a bonfire got out of control.

Firefighters were called to Oswald Road at 6pm yesterday, where they found the bonfire had spread to a garden fence and a tree.

One crew from Dover attended and used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze.

The residents confirmed that the blaze was accidental and the bonfire had got out of control.

Firefighters left the scene by 6.30pm.
