Police investigating a series of distraction burglaries have charged a woman with three counts.

Roxzann Jeffries is accused of committing one such offence at George Street, Dover, on Tuesday, January 24 and two at the town’s Coombe Valley Road seven days later.

Jeffries, 28. of Forelands Square, Deal, was arrested on Wednesday last week Feb 1 and charged with these offences plus four for shoplifting.

Jeffries was remanded in custody and appeared by videolink before Medway Magistrates Court this morning.
