Robbery of 14-year-old girl at St Mary's Churchard, Old Charlton Road, Dover - face of possible suspect

Police have put out an image of a man they are seeking following the robbery of a teenager.

The 14-year-old girl was terrorised by a man who threatened her before pushing her to the ground and stealing her backpack.

It happened 8.10pm and 8.22pm last Sunday in St Mary’s churchyard, Old Charlton Road, near to Connaught Park in Dover.

Kent Police spokesman Martin Very said: Officers investigating are releasing a computer generated image of a man they believe can help with their enquiries."

The suspect is is described as white, in his early30’s, 5ft 9ins, with scruffy brown hair, and wearing a loose-fitting, yellow t-shirt and baggy trousers.

He stole a grey Adidas backpack containing a Kindle Fire HD7, a Ross water bottle, a pencil case and a book.
