Hunt for van driver after man seriously injured in hit-and-run in Kennel Hill, Eythorne, near Dover

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a hit-and-run near Dover.

Police are hunting the driver of the van involved in the collision last night in Kennel Hill, Eythorne.

Emergency services were called to the incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at about 11pm.

The pedestrian, a man in 20s, was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening.

A police spokesman said: “The vehicle involved, described as a white Ford 'pick-up' style van with a box on the back, was not at the scene when officers attended.

“Inquiries are ongoing to locate the driver, who is described as a white man, of medium build with blonde hair.”
