The Central Band of the Royal British Legion will perform under director of music Cpt David Cole at The Duke of York's Royal Military School, Dover

The Central Band of The Royal British Legion will be performing a special concert in Dover next month at The Nye Hall, The Duke of York's Royal Military School.

Under the leadership of director of music Cpt David Cole - the man who directed last night's Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at The Royal Albert Hall - the special Concert For Winter will provide music for all tastes.

The Band is the Flagship of the Royal British Legion and performs across the United Kingdom. Captain Cole was a Director of Music in The Royal Marines and was the last Director of Music on board The Royal Yacht prior to being decommissioned.

The concert will also feature local singer Margaret Threadgold and there will be a hint of Christmas to get everyone in to the spirit of the season.

It takes place on Saturday, December 20, at 7-30pm.
