Dover: Woman charged after police find knife in her bag

A woman has been arrested after police found a knife in her bag.

Officers stopped Amy Marsh yesterday at about 1.45pm in the High Street, Dover, after being suspected of meat theft.

A knife, with a 5in blade, was found in a search and the 24-year-old was detained and admitted possession.

She has been charged and released on bail to appear at Folkestone Magistrate’s Court on March 14.
