Dover: Statue worth thousands of pounds stolen from garden

A bronze statue reportedly worth thousands of pounds has been stolen from a garden in Dover.

The life-size statue depicting a mother and child was reported missing from Old Court Hill, Nonington, on Monday February 11, and it is believed the theft took place between 6.40am and 9am that morning.

Officers from the Rural Task Force at Kent Police who are investigating the incident have now released an image of the stolen item.

Officer are urging anyone who has seen the piece or has information on where it might be to call the appeal line on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/42698/19 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
