Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan says White Cliffs of Dover are “made of cheese” in celebrity Weakest Link blunder

Former Coronation Street actor Helen Flanagan was asked by host Romesh Ranganathan: 'In geology, the White Cliffs of Dover are principally formed from what substance - chalk or cheese?'

To the amazement of the studio audience and millions of viewers, after hesitating, the actor, 33, said ‘cheese’.

The performer later claimed she thought Dover was in Cornwall and thought of the coastal county’s reputation for dairy products.

But watching the celebrity-special episode from their homes, viewers immediately took to social media to poke fun at the mistake.
