Teenage boy taken to London hospital after stabbing in Dover High Street

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after a reported stabbing.

The attack happened at 8pm yesterday near Royal Victoria Place in Dover High Street.

The victim was taken to a London hospital.

Police spokesman Steve Knight said today: "Police were called following reports of an assault.

"Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and a teenage boy was taken to a London hospital with injuries consistent with a stabbing.

"His condition is described as stable, and not serious.

"Enquiries continue."
