Dover Athletic sign former Gateshead player Mitch Brundle

Dover have signed former Gateshead midfielder Mitch Brundle.

The 22-year-old, who can play at full-back, has spent the last three seasons in the National League and he becomes Dover's second new signing of the summer.

Brundle made 34 appearances for Gateshead last season and he was a regular at Braintree for two years following a move from Bristol City in 2014.

Dover assistant manager Jake Leberl told the club's website: "Mitch is someone with plenty of versatility who can play in a number of positions, so we are delighted to get him.

"He has plenty of experience at this level for someone so young as himself but he also has the potential to develop even further."

Brundle has signed a two-year-deal at Crabble, like striker Jamie Allen who joined Whites from Southport earlier this month.
