Air Ambulance attends 'medical incident at Grand Burstin, Folkestone

An air ambulance was scrambled this morning to attend a “medical incident” inside a seafront hotel.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance landed in the car park opposite the Grand Burstin in Folkestone at about 10.30am.

Crews and police entered the building where a man was treated for injuries.

“Kent Police was notified of a medical incident at a hotel in Marine Parade, Folkestone, at 10.37am on Monday 21 May 2018.

“Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) attended the scene where a man was treated for injuries. He was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital for further medical attention.”

The ambulance service has been approached for comment.
