A stash of cannabis plants and equipment was seized from a property in Folkestone on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers raided the property in Coolinge Road using a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Witnesses reported seeing a number of fans being taken out of the property by forensics teams wearing body suits and latex gloves.

A Kent Police spokesman confirmed: "A number of plants and associated equipment were found within the address and these have been seized and taken away."

They added officers last night remained at the scene but no arrests have been made so far.

Officers are no longer at the property.
