Folkestone: Man trapped by concrete slabs after fall through roof

A man had to be freed by fire crews after he was trapped by concrete slabs when he feel through an extension roof.

Firefighters and medics were called to a property in Roman Way, Folkestone, at around 3pm following reports of a collapsed roof of a single-storey extension.

Crews used heavy duty air bags to lift the concrete slabs off of the man who was then treated by SECAmb and their Hazardous Area Response team.
