CCTV image released after man spits at woman in Folkestone

A CCTV image has been released after a man reportedly spat at a woman.

Police believe the man pictured may be able to help them with the incident in Folkestone.

The victim, a woman in her 30s, reportedly confronted a man in Guildhall Street between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on Wednesday, August 18.

It was reported that the man was being verbally abusive to another member of the public when the victim stepped in.

The man allegedly reacted aggressively, and tried to hit her before spitting at her.

Officers investigating the incident are asking anyone who recognises the man to come forward.
