Car hits parked vehicle on Radnor Park Avenue, Folkestone

A car smashing into another parked vehicle sparked queues.

Police were called to Radnor Park Avenue in Folkestone at 10.45am today.

Fire and ambulance crews also attended, but it is thought that no one has been seriously injured.

Reports on social media suggest that a car was pushed on its side in the incident.

Traffic information specialists Inrix say there was slow traffic in the area, and the road was partially blocked.

A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report that a car had collided with a parked vehicle in Radnor Park Avenue, Folkestone at 10.45am today.

“Officers attended along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service and assisted with traffic management and the recovery of one of the vehicles involved.”
