Police and fire crews in The Parade

Police and fire crews have been dealing with an "incident" in The Parade in Folkestone.

It was cordoned off in both directions while firefighters were seen using a height vehicle to access one of the flats near the Guildhall pub.

Witnesses said two fire engines, a police van, police car and an ambulance were at the scene.

Emergency services arrived at around 6.50pm and the incident has since been scaled down.

There have since been reports of concern for the welfare of an occupant of one of the flats.
