Stabbing in Sandgate Road, Folkestone, youths from Rochester and Folkestone charged

Two teenagers have been charged with knife offences following a stabbing.

Kent Police was called to the incident in Sandgate Road, Folkestone, on Wednesday afternoon.

A man in his 20s was found with an injury, which needed hospital treatment.

A 17-year-old boy from Rochester was charged with wounding with intent, and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

He has been remanded and will appear at Canterbury Youth Court on October 23.

A 16-year-old boy from Folkestone was charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, and possession of a Class B drug.

He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Canterbury Youth Court on the same day.
