Teen suffers facial injury after ‘attack’ outside Harvey Grammar School, Folkestone

A teenage boy suffered facial injuries after a man outside a school reportedly attacked him.

At about 3.40pm on January 19, a group of boys were approached in Cheriton Road, Folkestone, at a bus stop outside Harvey Grammar School.

It is alleged that the man – thought to be in his mid-20s to early 30s – attempted to assault another boy and made threats to a third during the incident.

Police have now released a description of the suspect.

A spokesman said: “The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, with black hair in a middle parting, blue eyes and a short dark beard.

“He was reportedly walking towards Cheriton High Street.

“Anyone with any information, or CCTV or dashcam footage which may assist officers, is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/12310/24.
