Folkestone: Police make two more arrests after suspected murder near harbour

Detectives investigating the suspected murder of a man in Folkestone have made two more arrests.

Officers were called just before 2.30am yesterday to reports that Steve Holton - a local man aged 54 - had been found with serious injuries near the harbour.

They have now arrested a 26-year-old man from the town and a 27-year-old woman from Dover on suspicion of murder.

It follows the arrest of two men - aged 56 and 37 - yesterday, who have been released pending further inquries.

Police say the victim’s next of kin have been informed and inquiries into the circumstances around the incident are ongoing.

Floral tributes appeared close to the Chummy's fish bar overnight.
