Man arrested at car wash in Northfleet, Gravesend

A man has been arrested at a car wash in Gravesend.

Police were called to to a car wash in High Street, Northfleet, Gravesend at 11:05am.

Spokesman for the police, Sally Smith, said: "The 20-year-old from Orpington was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, possessing a weapon and possession with intent to supply cannabis."

He remains in police custody.

Five police cars were pictured at the scene this morning.
