Cliftonville man charged in connection with stabbing attack in McDonald's, Gravesend

An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with a stabbing at a fast food restaurant in Gravesend.

Aiden St Louis, of Lewis Crescent, Cliftonville, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was arrested in Gravesend at around 7.30pm on Tuesday and was charged today.

It follows an incident which happened inside McDonald’s in New Road, Gravesend, where it was reported a man received injuries consistent with stab wounds.

It happened on July 16 in when police were called to a report of an assault at 3.45am.

Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and a man was taken to a London hospital with serious injuries and has since been discharged.

Aiden St Louis has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday August 4.
