Arriva bus crashes with car on Lion Garage roundabout, Gravesend

Two ambulances were called to the scene of a crash involving an Arriva bus and a car at the Lion Garage roundabout in Gravesend.

The incident took place at around 10.30am this morning as the 136 bus, which travels via Higham and Chalk on the way to Gravesend, was making its way around the roundabout.

It is not yet known how the collision took place, but police were also called to the scene.

Motorist Tony Matthews said: "I couldn't quite see what had happened.

"There was quite a lot of damage done to the car and I think someone might have been injured on one of the buses.

"I don't know if it would have been shock or something."
