Car overturns in Whitehill Road, Longfield, near Gravesend

Police are looking for the driver of a car that overturned with five people inside.

One woman was trapped and two others required hospital treatment after the crash in Whitehill Road, Longfield, at half past midnight.

This afternoon a police spokesman revealed officers are trying "to locate the driver who reportedly left the scene before officers’ arrival".

Three ambulances, two paramedic vehicles, the air ambulance, police and firefighters attended the scene.

One woman was trapped in the vehicle after suffering head injuries. She was taken to King's College Hospital in London by road.

A man and a woman with less serious injuries were taken to two other hospitals.
