Caravan fire in Longfield Hill, near Gravesend, was ‘deliberate’ act

A fire which caused a caravan to go up in flames is believed to have been started deliberately.

Firefighters were called following reports the place was alight at Longfield Hill, Longfield near Gravesend, last night.

Two fire engines attended shortly after 9pm, with firefighters using hose reel jets to put the flames out.

They finished just after 9.40pm.

Although there were no reported injuries, the blaze is being treated as deliberate.

Police have been contacted for more information.
