Dog walker suffers broken wrist in off-road hit and run in New Ash Green

A dog walker was left with a broken wrist after being knocked down by an off-road motorbike in a Kent village yesterday evening.

The woman was in North Field, near Milestone Academy on Ash Road, when she became aware of a person riding a motorcycle.

At around 6.15pm the rider entered the field and headed towards the woman and her dog, catching the lead and throwing the owner to the ground. She was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries.

The bike was described as being extremely loud and had blue and white markings. It is believed it may be missing registration plates and the rider was a white teenage boy, possibly aged between 15 and 17.
